Came to the Potomac area for my daughter‘s soccer game, I found this place using Google Maps and so happy that I did. The food was absolutely delicious. We all got burgers and they were so delicious and cooked perfectly. Friendly staff and a nice clean place to dine in. I highly recommend you give Hunter‘s bar and grill a try.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After more than three decades of eating at Hunter’s Inn, I can officially say I just had my best meal ever. The Italian special was perfection—crisp green salad, a smooth glass of house red, and a Bolognese that deserves its own fan club. But the real magic of the night? Celebrating Cyber Monday with my new buddy, Alfonso (“Fonz”), the bartender. He’s equal parts charm, hospitality, and comedic timing—basically the reason you end up staying for “just one more.” Hunter’s Inn, you outdid yourselves. Fonz, you’re a gem. Can’t wait for the sequel.
I had a great experience at Hunters Bar and Grill in Potomac! The mac and cheese, greens, and crab cake were all delicious — everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. Our server was very friendly and quick to take our order, and the entire staff seemed genuinely happy to make sure my guests and I had a great time. We even got to meet the chef, who came by our table a couple of times to introduce herself and check that we were being taken care of, which really made the experience feel special. I’ll definitely be going back again!
The chef did it again. She personally came out and checked on our table. She recommended nachos, I said only if they are as good as your grits! Which by the way are AMAZING....she then delivered herself the most amazing chilli and cheese nachos you will ever eat! All the ingredients were made in house. Great customer service! Ps the hostess got us a last minute table for 8! It was such a great experience. Thanks to the chef and the Hunters team!
I recently dined at Hunter's Grill in Potomac with a large group of eight, and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Despite having two late arrivals in our party, the staff quickly accommodated us, ensuring a seamless start to our meal. The service was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The food truly stole the show, though! We started with two appetizers: fried calamari and artichoke spinach dip. Both were outstanding and disappeared in no time. For the main course, I couldn't get enough of the crab cakes platter, which was bursting with flavor. The steaks and frites were equally impressive, cooked to perfection, and the tacos were simply amazing—definitely a highlight of the meal! While our server occasionally took a bit longer to bring water and a few items to the table, especially with a group of teens who tend to have frequent requests, his genuine friendliness and eagerness to help truly made up for any minor delays. It’s clear they strive to provide great service, and we appreciated their efforts. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!
Everything we tried on the menu was so delicious. The crab cake, scallops, spinach, risotto, and fries were all perfect. We also had the collard greens and they were clearly made with love. We were so stuffed but the food was so good that we HAD to get dessert. OMG the peach cobbler, the apple pie, and the homemade cookie are a MUST!! Edgur was the perfect host. He was so friendly and kind. Chef Tee is AMAZING and Hunter's has THEE best chef in Potomac, hands down! We will definitely be back.
Hadn't been in 26 years as last time was there for my birthday (I don't live here anymore). I was really impressed, glad I went and glad I picked my entree. Inside looks great, very clean. Elegant without being stuffy. I got corn on the cob which was awesome, would go back just for that was it was only 5 bucks. So really impressed with the Chicken Parm. Another restaurant who has two locations nearby has one a couple bucks cheaper, but half the size (or smaller). Swapped out my pasta for angel hair. Going to suggest to my family that we return as this is off the beaten path. Great job guys and I need not to wait another 26 years. Good food, great service, and pretty good value as well. A solid player.
Visited for the first time today for lunch. Very efficient and quality service. Food was really good. We had a double smashburger and the fried chicken crab dip sandwich. Burger was very juicy and a good size. The fried chicken thigh was crispy/crunchy and very hot, crab dip had a nice kick. Fries that came with both were outstanding. Kid had the Alfredo pasta and ate the entire bowl. We also had a few beers on draft. Overall, a great place for a weekend brunch/lunch if you’re in Potomac.
